Dublin, In Detail
This series formed naturally over time – sort of. I had this massive pile of photos that were collecting dust, but I knew I wanted to do something with.
I always look back on this project as me learning the ropes of a camera. I was only new to photography and especially 35mm. Turning my lens, at the time, to the streets of the city I lived in, offered me a constantly changing subject, on my doorstep.
Those of us who live here, all know Dublin. We know the people and the landmarks, but I wanted to capture the details, found angles and light that seem to be characteristic to our capital.
