Atmospheric Sensitivity

Atmospheric Sensitivity

Rachel Clarke is an emerging Irish contemporary artist whose multi-medium work traverses both abstracted & figurative works. Her pastel colour palettes and delicate fluid shapes demonstrate an atmospheric sensitivity in her work.

Not limiting herself to one medium, Rachel explores her work through a variety of tools such as acrylic paint, print and digital. This range is an important aspect of informing her practice.

Rachel’s work demonstrates an atmospheric sensitivity with a pastel colour palette and delicate fluid shapes. Her work often depicts unseen internal sensations, through skewed figurative work. Her hope is to conjure up the sensation in the viewer and provide a direct sense of engagement.

A founding member of the visual art collective Epoch, she is quickly making a name for herself in the Irish art scene. Rachel's work is in private collections globally and has been exhibited in a number of group exhibitions nationally.

She is available for commissions and her personal work is available to purchase through her Instagram: @rachmclarke or her website www.RachelClarke.ie. In the meantime, check out the gallery below for some sensational examples of her work.
